Password Resets

If you had a BHS Shop login associated with your email address prior to our new site launch on September 19, 2018, you will be prompted to reset your password the first time you login to the new system. This is to protect your privacy and ensure your password remains secure as your account switches to the new system.

Gift Certificates

Gift Certificates may be purchased on the left navigation pane on any screen, under Pages.

 

MEMBER DISCOUNTS

How do I see my member discount?

All prices displayed on the website are the full price of the product. Member discounts will be applied at checkout, and reflected in your cart and on your invoice once your member number is applied.

How do I get my member discount?

If you are a member, be sure you enter your 6-digit Member/Associate number by clicking the Promo/Gift Certificate link at checkout and entering your number in the Promo/Gift Certificate box, then select Apply. In order to receive the discount, you will need to do this each time you place an order. Only one discount can be used per order. Discounts do not apply to digital/download versions of sheet music (See Music Rights & Restrictions section below). Refunds will not be issued if you submit an order without using your member discount.

You do not need to be a member of the Barbershop Harmony Society in order to purchase from the BHS shop site, although we would love to have you join us! BHS members' dues help create these products and the prices shown reflect discounts for them and their families. Non-member prices are still a tremendous value for our friends and customers who are not members of BHS. MUSIC RIGHTS & RESTRICTIONS

Searching for Music

The search function of this website is capable of finding products by partial titles, SKUs, and other descriptive keywords. If a specific arrangement has digital or learning track options, those can be seen by clicking into the product. After clicking into the arrangement for which you are interested, the first product listed will always be the printed sheet music, followed by all available additional options (Digital Download, Digital Learning Tracks, and CD Learning Tracks).

If you aren't sure what song you may want, you can use our Sheet Music filters to help narrow down your search. These filters are available at the top of each sheet music page. After navigating to the Sheet Music portion of the shop site, you can use the products filters listed across the top of the section to filter by Ensemble, Digital Version and Learning track availability, Tempo, and more! You may also use our Search By Arranger page under our All Sheet Music section on our site.

Digital Downloads

We offer sheet music in two formats: digital distribution (where applicable) and printed physical copies. If a product is the digital download version, it will have the letters DL behind the product ID and the word Download in the title. 

There is a minimum purchase quantity of four copies for digital sheet music. This is due to higher copyright costs the Society must pay on digital sheet music. 

If your order contained downloaded products only, then you will receive an email with the digital files immediately after completing your order. If your order contains both physical and downloadable products, you will receive an email with the digital files when your order ships from our warehouse. If you created a customer account, all purchased files will be available under your account’s dashboard as well as being sent to your email.

Music Returns

Harmony Marketplace cannot accept returns or exchanges for sheet music or songbooks (print or digital), or learning tracks (CD or digital) as we are legally obligated to pay royalties and arranger fees on all sold goods and are unable to resell music.

Licensing/Copyright

BHS and Harmony Marketplace are fully licensed by applicable copyright holders for web-broadcasting of audio samples of our products.

International Sales

Unfortunately, not all of our sheet music is available for sale outside of North America. Licensing restrictions by copyright holders guide what and where we can sell products. BHS takes seriously its obligations to comply with U.S. copyright law. We are working diligently to increase the number of titles available for sale worldwide via Hal Leonard LLC -- visit www.halleonard.com or www.sheetmusicplus.com for currently available products. If you are unable to find an arrangement on our website, contact library@barbershop.org for assistance.

International Buyers: Import duties, taxes, and charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges are the buyer's responsibility. Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to making your purchase.

MERCHANDISE SHIPPING & RETURNS

All sales are binding at the time of purchase. If you have a questions about a product or music, please contact Customer Service at (800) 876-7464 or customerservice@barbershop.org before placing your order. Please allow approximately 2 - 5 business days for order processing not including shipping. Prices and availability of items are subject to change without notice.

Shipping Options

The following shipping options are available for most items:

  • USPS Media Mail (slowest 3 - 10 Days) - most affordable option for orders containing music, manuals, learning tracks, printed materials, and CD/DVDs) 
  • USPS First Class (3-6 days)

  • USPS Priority Mail (1-3 days)

Please note:  There may be a slight delay on orders containing notes or special requests. If you have questions about a product please contact customerservice@barbershop.org before placing your order. 

Refunds and Exchanges

Returns: Returns must be made within 15 days of purchase. If you are not satisfied with your Harmony Marketplace purchase for any reason, please call (800) 876-7464 or email customerservice@barbershop.org for return instructions. All returned items must be in new condition, and in the original packaging. Please include your name, number, or original packing slip. Please return within 15 days purchase. Please do not return items without first contacting Customer Service.

Refunds: Approved refunds will be issues to the credit card used for the order. You will receive the credit typically within 24 hours, depending on your card issuer's policies. You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item.

Exchanges: If you receive a defective or damaged item, contact Customer Service within 15 days to request a replacement. Upon receipt of damaged item, we will reissue the said item at no cost. If you are not satisfied with your purchase for another reason (size, color, changed your mind), we will gladly offer an exchange for that product. We may need to refund the initial item and create a new order. Shipping charges may apply.

Please note: The following items are not eligible for returns, refunds, or exchanges: sheet music or songbooks (print or digital); learning tracks (CD or digital); opened CDs; DVDs; name badges; and pitch pipes. Pitch pipes may be replaced only if defective within 15 days of purchase. 

Errors or Omissions in Order:  We do our best to process and ship orders in a timely manner. Please help us maintain that level of service by reporting errors or omissions with your order within 7 days of receipt. If you do not receive your entire order, please notify us within 15 days.

HOURS OF OPERATION

You may place an order on the website at any time, but normal business hours of operation are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Central Time / Monday through Friday, excluding Barbershop Harmony Society (BHS) holidays and during the week of the BHS Mid Winter or International Conventions. You may also call (800) 876-7464 during normal business hours to place an order via the customer service department.
