The Tombo is made in Japan, specifically in the key of E, and forged in simple and strong plastic.
Most pitch pipes in the US are keyed in F for men's voices, and C for women's voices.
Since the manufacturer labels all accidentals in sharps, we include a sticker you can attach to your pitchpipe, making it easier to see and identify the key you want.

Different but I like it!
This pitch pipe has a nice clear tone, less airy than the normal pitch pipes. It's a little different to use, but you get used to it.
